hi there. i know what you're thinking. pretty creepy. well, that's me. my name is jim umlauf and i'm both the music guy and the teacher of bloodworth. the history of how i ended up at grace is a little sketchy, but here's a short rundown of my journey: i was born in chicago as a half-twin, and was raised in the suburbs, though i grew up tri-coastal. i've been employed as a ballroom dance teacher, stock broker, bug exterminator, and sleazy lounge singer, which naturally led me to a life of ministry here at grace. i'm married to a spectacular woman named tammy, who teaches third grade at evangelical christian school. we've been married for nineteen years, and i'm absolutely, wildly, perpetually-about-to-pop in love with her. she speaks no english. |
