Are you a northerner or a southerner?
I was born in Detroit, Michigan. My dad was from Ward, Arkansas and my mom's family was from Kentucky, so I am a little of both. |

My favorite book, movie, music:
My favorite books are The Age of Opportunity by Paul David Tripp and the Bible.
My favorite movies are Remember the Titans and The Family Man.
My favorite TV shows are 24 and Survivor and Friday Night Lights.
My favorite music is the soundtrack from Remember the Titans and anything with a great beat. |

My Family:
I have been married for 25 years to a fun guy named Scott. We have 2 wonderful children. Adam, a junior at Auburn University in the NROTC program and Alexis, a sophomore at Birmingham Southern College. We also have a Jack Russell Terrier named Widget who gets our paper everyday. |

Favorite Pastime:
I love to hang out with our Sr. High kids from the church, tube and ski at the lake, play percussion, and scrapbook.
